God Forbid
God Forbid
|
Rising stars on the American metal scene, God Forbid plays a potent brand of metalcore, with several nods to the Swedish melodic death metal sound as well as American thrash and death metal influences. They put out two releases on smaller labels before signing to Century Media and breaking out with 2001's Determination, with 2004's Gone Forever and 2005's IV: Constitution Of Treason continuing to raise the bar of what metalcore can be. God Forbid is a brutally heavy yet surprisingly diverse band, and is managing to remain at the top of a over-saturated genre. The best may yet to come for these guys.
