An early Earache Records signing, Hellbastard are often mentioned as being punk or grind. While that may be true in their early day, it's not really the case on 1990's Natural Order, as there the emphasis is on standard thrash accentuated by gruff vocals by Scott Lewty. Lewty and drummer Brian Newton were later seen in the very different Nero Circus.
