2000 has proven to be a breakout year for Papa Roach -- though it might seem they burst out of nowhere, they have been slogging away in northern California since their formation in 1993, releasing several self-financed CDs before signing to Dreamworks and breaking out nationally. Mixing nu-metal with a touch of hardcore and a major hip-hop/rap influence, Papa Roach's experience and professionalism shine on Infest.
