Record Label - Heavy Metal Records
A cult NWOBHM label, Heavy Metal Records was founded by one Paul Birch, for the primary purpose of releasing a single by one of his favorite bands, Handsome Beasts. Eventually the label released a couple of compilations entitled "Heavy Metal Heroes" (the first volume ranks among the best of the 80's compilation albums) and several singles and albums, with its best act unquestionably being the mighty Witchfinder General.
