Agressor  


As their own bio states, "Agressor are widely acknowledged as the godfathers of French Death Metal". True enough, as their debut release, a split LP with fellow French death metallers Loudblast, is acknowledged as the first death metal album from France. The lineup changes make this look like an Alex Colin-Tocquaine solo project, though this is not really the case. Colin-Tocquaine is currently playing with Loudblast, though Agressor is technically still an ongoing, if currently inactive, band.
