Bride  


Bride was part of the first wave of Christian metal bands that sprouted in the mid-eighties, alongside Barren Cross, Bloodgood, and others, and after almost two decades in the business are still going strong. Their style has changed often over the years, from traditional Priest-ish metal on their early Pure Metal releases, to a more commercial hair metal phase during the early nineties, to an overt modern rapcore style on their 2001 Fist Full Of Bees album -- this metamorphosis can either be viewed as a testament to maturing and experimenting, or an indictment on chasing the latest musical trend of the day, depending on one's point of view. Lyrically they are occasionally heavy-handed with their message, sincere though they are.
