Burning Saviours

Burning Saviours formed in late 2003, with the
intent on playing early doom-inspired metal.
Naming themselves after the
Pentagram
song, Pentagram is indeed a prime
influence and soundalike, particularly given
Andrei Amartinesei’s vocal resemblance to Bobby Liebling.
But there’s a bit more going on, an even greater reliance
on early 70’s influences, and a guest flute player lends
a folky Jethro Tull vibe at times.
After three albums, the band packed it in in February 2008,
citing disinterest with continuing.
