Carnivore was Pete Steele's first major band, though he spent some time in an earlier band called Fallout. The sound here was street-level thrash, with Steele's vocals not too dissimilar to what is heard in Type O Negative. Though formally disbanded for some time, the odd reunion gig has taken place throughout the intervening years.
