Cold Mourning

From the California coast, Cold Mourning (an excellent name for
a doom metal band) released its debut album in 2000
after a few singles and split-LP appearances.
Lower Than Low draws from influences such as
St. Vitus and
Pentagram,
with the result being pretty much what you'd expect -- downtuned,
slow, heavy, classic doom metal.
No surprises here, but for ultra-heavy epic doom metal,
Cold Mourning delivers.
