Comecon

A slightly off-center Swedish death metal band, Comecon packed three albums into a short career in the mid-nineties. Musically, they were a pretty decent thrash-tinged death band, not wildly unique though a little bit better than simply an ordinary band. Lyrically, these guys might have been on to something, judging by the largely unconventional song titles ("Good Boy Benito"? "Pinhole View"? "Soft Creamy Lather"???). Notable for, if nothing else, the three standout vocalists that sang on the three different albums (possibly as hired hands) during the band's run.
