Condenados
Chilean doom is what's on offer here, from a band who's been around
since 2005 and released a few EPs such before hooking up with the
everpresent
Shadow Kingdom
label for their 2011 effort, the aptly titled
A Painful Journey Into Nihil.
It's classic traditional doom metal all the way,
with bands such as
St. Vitus,
The Obsessed,
Solitude Aeturnus,
and others coming to mind as soundalikes as well as influences.
While they rarely stray from this tried and true style, they do
execute well, and slot perfectly with the aforementioned bands.
