Desolation Angels

NWOBHM band Desolation Angels formed in 1981 and made some headway in the early 80's, but by the time their self-titled album was released in 1986 the NWOBHM wave had passed, and the albums sub-par production didn't matters, which is a shame since there were some quality songs on display. They seemingly disappeared soon after that (in fact the band might have initially broken up before the album even came out), though apparently a couple of cassette-only releases were made in the early 90's. Finally a modified lineup put out an EP in 2014 and a new album in 2017. That album, King, pretty much picks up where the debut left off, as features NWOBHM-inspired, no-frills traditional metal.
