Devolved  

Devolved is one of Australia's rising stars, and a potential world force in extreme metal. Technologies, their debut album, is intense and ferocious, a brutal yet quite technical death metal album with faint industrial influences. Early Fear Factory is a frequently cited soundalike, but Devolved is a shade more diverse and a bit more complex, particularly in the drum department, where John Sankey delivers some inventive fills. This is a promising act in the extreme metal field. The band relocated to Los Angeles in 2005 with a new lineup.
