Fifth Angel  

Fifth Angel played mainstream hard rock/metal, ultimately becoming yet another band in the "decent following but no superstardom" category, though they did manage a major label contract for their second album in 1989. Notable for supplying the theme music for Howard Stern's old TV show of several years ago, as well as launching the career of guitarist James Byrd's solo career, who later several albums on the Shrapnel label. There had been unsubstantiated reunion rumors for several years, but now officially the band is back together as of March 2009.
