Flames  


One of Greece's earliest metal bands, Flames were quite popular in their homeland and Europe in the mid-eighties, and had a pretty successful recording career, with four albums in the eighties and two more in the nineties. Style-wise, they were solidly thrash, with the early material more along the lines of Germanic thrash such as Sodom. As late as 2003 they were still active and still planning to record again, and in fact they may still be alive, though information on them is hard to come by.
