Galactic Cowboys  


Galactic Cowboys combine Beatles-ish vocal harmonies (similar to Kings X, who are friends of the Cowboys) with a traditional metal sound. The combination is original, intriguing, sometimes perplexing. The fact that they don't really have a mainstream sound may relegate them to cult status, but perhaps it's better that way. The band did score a minor hit with "If I Were A Killer", which got some decent MTV at that time. The general consensus is that Space In Your Face (from which "Killer" is culled) is their best album. In April 2000, the band decided that Let It Go will be their last album, the members wishing to amicably break up and pursue other interests.
