Hail Of Bullets

Hail Of Bullets is essentially the Dutch version of a death metal
supergroup, as the guys here have collectively spent time in
seemingly every notable Dutch death band, including
Pestilence,
Thanatos,
Asphyx,
and
Gorefest.
So, no real suprises on this band's debut,
... Of Frost And War, as it features a typically intense,
grindy form of Euro death metal, with Martin
van Drunen (arguably the most well-known and well-travelled
of the bunch) contributing rather hoarse, raspy vocals.
Not exactly cutting-edge material here, but that probably
wasn't the goal here, as it's more likely the guys just wanted
to get together to bash out some old-school death metal to
past the time.
