Kaliyuga
Kaliyuga is one of a few Singaporean metal bands to make some
international noise
(
Rudra,
with whom this band shares some members, is probably the most
well-known).
Their debut album,
14/07, is a competent, though generic,
slice of Swedish-styled melodic death metal.
It's a bit thin production-wise, and there's not a lot of
originality to be found, but the sheer accomplishment of a
Singaporean band making it this far is notable at least.
