The Midnight Ghost Train

The Midnight Ghost Train was formed in 2007 by guitarist/vocalist Steve Moss, as a commemoration to a friend who had recently and unexpectedly passed away. As heard on 2012's Buffalo, the band's style is primarily stoner rock, but also with some alternative rock and plenty of blues to go around (so, perhaps two parts early Kyuss to one part Clutch might be a reasonable description), replete with Moss's scraggly vocals (almost Tom Waits-like at times). The lineup appears to have stabilized and they've recently signed to Napalm for their 2015 album, Cold Was The Ground.
