My Own Victim  

Though they hail from Kentucky, My Own Victim sound like they should be from, perhaps, New York, as their style of hardcore-inspired street metal is reminiscient of NY bands such as Biohazard, with whom My Own Victim has toured with in the past. The band went through a couple of name changes (first Human Remains, then Crawlspace) before settling on their present name just prior to signing with Century Media. Their most recent releases have been self-financed (not reviewed here).
