Maninnya Blade  

A rather obscure Euro-metal band, whose style occasionally bordered on speed/thrash -- a bit dated sounding now, but somewhat inventive for the time. One of the earlier bands that once featured guitarist Mike Wead (Abstrakt Algebra, Mercyful Fate, several others), though he was not in the when Merchants In Metal was recorded. He did rejoin at a later time, at which point the band (with guitarist Nick Johansson taking over on vocals) metamorphosed into Hexenhaus. Though only the one 1986 album was officially recorded, the band later put out a collection of unreleased tracks and a double live album, and is still active today.
