Maraya
The band known as Wicked Maraya debuted in 1995 with a pretty
decent progressive/power metal album entitled
Cycles, garnering
some critical acclaim.
They then shortened their name to just Maraya, and released two
follow-up albums on indie labels that, for whatever reason, didn't
generate much press.
Eventually the band petered out and weren't heard from again.
July 2012:
Plans are under way to release the band's long lost 1991 debut
"Lifetime In Hell", which was recorded years before Cycles but never
released.
New material may also be in the works.
