Mercy

Mercy was the band that once featured Messiah Marcolin, later of Candlemass fame, and reportedly the two albums here that he appeared on were of the doom mold. However, the only Mercy album reviewed here is their debut EP, Swedish Metal, a rather low-budget NWOBHM-sounding affair, and as Messiah wasn't around then, it's of limited appeal to Messiah or doom fans.

Though the band hadn't been around for years, a new recording emerged in 2004, essentially a solo release by founder Andrija Veljaca, with the title Underground, reportedly in the doom/sludge mold.
