Nocturnus

Nocturnus was one of many early nineties Floridian death metal
bands, but two attributes set them apart from their contemporaries.
One, their lyrical stance was based in science fiction, and two,
they incorporated keyboards into their music.
They recorded two successful albums, but their stability was
seemingly always in question, with the band reported as disbanding
or reforming frequently through the later nineties.
A third album,
Ethereal Tomb, did emerge in 2000, but again
internal friction led to a final breakup in mid 2002.
Emo Mowery has since joined
Leash Law.
