Obscene Gesture

Fans of classic 80's crossover bands such as
Cryptic Slaughter
and
Stormtroopers Of Death
rejoice, as Obscene Gesture recreates the style perfectly,
Living In Profanity being 21 short bursts of manic speedy thrash with
straight hardcore vocals over the top.
Also of interest is that
the band features three members with ties to
Agent Steel
(two of them comprised the original rhythm section on that band's 1985
seminal debut
Sceptics Apocalypse, while the third, guitarist
Juan Garcia, is still with that band).
While not exactly in line with the
Exodus
retro worship still in vogue at the moment,
Obscene Gesture will probably appeal to those fans as well as true
crossover aficionados.
