Pist*On  

Pist.On has a sound similar to fellow New Yorkers such as (early) Type O Negative or perhaps Life Of Agony, with their sound characterized by a thick guitar sound, slow-to-midpaced rhythms, and a somewhat bleak lyrical stance. The band status has wavered ever since the release of the second album, with various reports stating that the band had outright disbanded, or that the core of Henry and Val had recruited new members. Longtime bassist Val Ium was reported as leaving the band in August of 2001, and with no word from the band since then, they are probably finished.
