Revelation

Revelation was one of the classic Hellhound bands of the early 90's, due to both their old-school doom style and their origin, being part of a healthy DC doom scene that featured Internal Void, Unorthodox, and several others. They disbanded in 1996 after releasing three albums, but a new lineup (below) emerged in 2002, bringing together both guitarist/vocalists for the first time, though it was stated that this band would serve primarily as a studio project. Simultaneously, however, came the news that returning guitarist John Brenner and drummer Steve Branagan (both part of the reformed Revelation) had reunited with original bassist Bert Hall and had formed a new band, Against Nature. While that band is undeniably active (and then some, with four albums released in the last two years), little to nothing has been heard from the reformed Revelation, which might mean that that version of the band no longer exists.
