Rogue Male

Once tabbed by Kerrang! as the next big thing (neither the first
nor the last time that Kerrang! has over-hyped a British band),
Rogue Male came and went, ultimately not amounting to much.
First Visit had a strong
Motorhead style (particularly in the very
Lemmy-like vocals) and a good sense of catchy loud rock and roll.
For whatever reason, though, the band didn't catch on.
They disbanded after the followup,
Animal Man.
2009 update: Jim Lyttle has put together a new version of the band,
and a new album, Nail It, has been completed, awaiting a release.
