Scale The Summit

Scale The Summit have been plying their trade since their formation in 2007, representing a small but highly talented cadre of progressive instrumental bands. Cynic appears to be a prime influence, with some fusion influences and plenty of technical riffs. Sure, there's the occasional jazz noodling and some ambient moments, but there's real metal crunch in the guitars, making this band a must for prog fans. They released their fifth album, naturally called V, in September 2015.
