Shok Paris

Shok Paris were one of the top representatives of a pretty
decent Ohio metal scene of the eighties, with a style midway
between mainstream hard rock and the heavier, but still
accessible, metal style of the times.
Their first album,
Go For The Throat, is probably their
heaviest, while
Steel And Starlight is the one that seems
to be their most well-known.
Yet another victim of the numbers game, as they played well, drew
plenty of fans, but didn't quite have that extra something that
could elevate them to the next level.
