Skid Row  

Led by charismatic frontman Sebastian Bach, Skid Row scored some big hits in their career, with "Slaves To The Grind" and "Monkey Business" two of their better-known songs. Often lumped into the glam metal crowd, Skid Row's music was a bit tougher than others of that ilk and actually the band got heavier with their later releases, with Subhuman Race clearly their heaviest work. The band enjoyed success during their run in the early nineties but inevitably things soured later on, and with relationships straining between band members led to the band's semi-breakup in the late nineties, only to return to the scene minus Bach. Their 2003 album, Thickskin, garnered some praise but in general hasn't lifted the band to its previous heights, and unfortunately their newest, Revolutions Per Minute, doesn't seem to be faring much better.
