Slammer

As thrash metal surged in popularity at the end of the eighties
and into the early nineties, bands like Slammer were popping
up all over the place, and a few, like Slammer, even got a taste
of the big time via a major record label contract.
They only managed one album on that major label, and after an EP
and second album on Heavy Metal Records a couple of years later
they were done.
Nightmare Scenario, that second album, was very much a typical
record of the times, not really better or worse than
several thrash albums of the early nineties.
It's far from a bad album, though, and worthy of a listen for thrash
completists if no one else.
