Fun-loving thrashers from Germany, Tankard is one of those bands that keep going and going, keeping pretty much the same style album after album. Self-proclaimed "Kings Of Beer", the band has pretty much made a career singing about beer and partying -- one can't help but admire a band with songs such as "Beermuda", "Puke", "Space Beer", "Shit-Faced", "Alcohol", and countless others meant not to be taken too seriously. The music itself is frenetic and catchy 80's thrash, again without much change even as the band enters the new millennium. Tankard aren't about to change the world, but they are good at what they do, and more power to them for sticking around as long as they have.
