Torch  

For 1982, this was some quite heavy stuff. Torch's raw, forceful style was nothing fancy or complicated, just mean, down and dirty metal. The two albums lacked the initial impact of that first EP, but this was still a band worth listening to. Apparently they reformed in 2003 and as late as spring 2005 were playing live.
