Vanderhoof

Vanderhoof was formed by
Metal Church
guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof during his initial hiatus from that
band.
Like Vanderhoof's former non-Church project
(
Hall Aflame, who
released an album in the early nineties), Vanderhoof the band
is decidedly less power metal than Metal Church ever was, instead
opting for a more mainstream hard rock sound.
Though the album is quite polished and professional, it's hard to
tell how Metal Church fans would react to it, since it's really
a different style.
The debut has been re-released in the US, and a followup album,
A Blur In Time, has now been completed and released.
