No real order here. I'm not sure what I think of this list, as there are several albums here by newer bands that I think have great potential but perhaps haven't reached it yet. Virtually no similarity between my list and the Internet list, which is dominated by veteran groups.

It's amazing that Iron Maiden continues to dominate popularity polls after all these years. Also interesting is that, while everyone talks about the rebirth of retro thrash and the hoards of youngsters taking up the cause, it's the old thrash veterans sticking it out that are all over this list.
