Anvil Bitch

Anvil Bitch played primitive, speedy thrash, inspired by early Metallica, with vocals that alternated between semi-shouted and high-pitched wailing. The band garnered a fair underground following but ultimately fell by the wayside, not unlike many other indie thrash bands of that era. After a long absense from the scene they reunited in 2008, put out an EP, and as of this writing are still active.
