Bitches Sin
Bitches Sin are best remembered for one of the better indie NWOBHM
songs ever, "Strangers On The Shore", one of the best tracks on
the legendary
Heavy Metal Heroes compilation in 1981.
But the band stumbled, with their 1982 debut album
Predator,
already with a different lineup, suffered from a poor production,
listless songs, and even a vastly inferior version of "Strangers".
After disappearing from sight for several years, they somehow
reappeared on the tiny American label
King Klassic
with
Invaders, a somewhat
quirky release that, though not outstanding, was pretty interesting
in places and thus a huge improvement over
Predator.
In the intervening years the band has kept a low profile,
with some members also appearing in the rock band Flashpoint.
The band is active to this day, and not only that, noted producer
Chris Tsangarides has signed up as an official member.
