Bywar
Brazilian thrashers Bywar have nailed the retro thrash sound
perfectly on their 2002 debut album,
Invincible War,
as the style is right in line with the early Germanic thrash
style of the mid-eighties, in particular the style of
Destruction
on their first few releases.
Aided by a simple yet clear production, the songs are
frenzied, catchy, and effective -- certainly not contempory,
but that's clearly not the point.
Old-school thrash fans will certainly enjoy these guys.
