Carnal Forge

Formed in 1997 as a side project of In Thy Dreams members Stefan Westerberg and Jari Kuusisto, Carnal Forge's style is a hyperspeed death/thrash mixture, with hardcore-ish vocals over the top. The songs tend to be a bit samey, due partially to Jonas Kjellgren's one-dimensional vocal style and partially to the band really not straying much from their basic style, though there's certainly no shortage of energy or ferocity. These guys are quite intense and have talent, but more diversity is needed for them to further their development.
