Crimson Midwinter

A lesser-known Finnish black metal band, Crimson Midwinter managed just one album in a short career before breaking up. The style is conventional black metal, familiar though not really cloning any one band. The vocals are a bit shouty by black metal standards, but they are also undermixed, lessening their harshness. Random Chaos is a decent black metal album, not destined to be a classic but well worth a listen for black metal fans.
