Devin Townsend Project

Devin Townsend is still revered for his work in the seminal Strapping Young Lad back in the day, but since then he's broadened his works to realms metal and beyond. Previously his solo work was released as Devin Townsend Band (and there was another project by the name of Ocean Machine), but here in the Devin Townsend Project he's gone to another level, releasing a slew of interesting and unique albums that really sound like no one else. He's often stated (or at least inferred) that metal is no longer his priority, yet there's still plenty of heaviness here on offer.
