Dark Wizard

The cult Belgian label Mausoleum Records put out a number of albums in the early to mid-80's, and while there were a few diamonds in the rough, several releases were of the decent but unmemorable variety, and that was the case with the Dutch band Dark Wizard, who put out an EP and an LP on the label in 1984 and 1985 respectively. This is the kind of band sought after by 80's completists or vinyl collectors, but by purely musical standards there just wasn't much here that wasn't done better by others -- just your typical rough, underdeveloped post-NWOBHM Euro metal.
