Domine

Domine is a prototypical Italian metal band -- for better or for worse, all of the classic characteristics of Italian power metal can be found here, from the speedy riffs, rollicking choruses, fantasy-based lyrics, to the general grandiose atmosphere. This is not to say that Domine doesn't put their own unique stamp on the proceedings (they do have their moments), and to be fair they aren't as over-the-top as, say, Rhapsody Of Fire. Overall, though, this is metal for the converted, as they really don't add anything to the mix that hasn't been heard before. But as any power metal fan knows, that's not the point. Domine make no bones about what they're about, and on those terms, they deliver.
