Drain S.T.H.

Drain STH (the STH stands for Stockholm, and presumably was there to avoid conflicts with another band called Drain) released two albums that vocally were strongly reminiscent of early Alice In Chains (even though the vocalists were female), while musically being more metal-based and less grunge-based than AIC. One of the few all-female metal bands during these times, Horror Wrestling was a fine debut, made even better when re-released with a cool grunge version of Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades", one of the more inventive cover songs in some time. The band split up in June of 2000 with a couple of members moving on to other bands such as Blowsight (featuring Flavia) and Superfix (featuring Martina, now a lead vocalist), while vocalist Maria is now engaged to none other than Black Sabbath's own Tony Iommi.
