Dragonauta

Dragonauta is one of Argentina's few doom bands, and clearly one of the best the country has produced. Luciferatu is at least superficially a doom album, with numerous nods to early Black Sabbath in the guitarwork and overall mood, though Federico Wolman's harsh, semi-shouted vocal style isn't in line with most doom bands. Additionally, the band isn't afraid to experiment, throwing in the odd jazz, flamenco, and psychedelic influence to pretty good effect. Towards this end, Dragonauta has a reasonably unique style going here, one that may well find favor with traditional doom fans, as well as those into the stoner scene and even the sludgey NOLA style.
