Dragony
Europe continues to churn out melodic power metal bands by the bushel,
and Dragony is just such a band.
Hailing from Austria, their 2011 debut
Legends shows a mostly midpaced,
somewhat symphonic take on the familiar genre -- really, the band name
and song titles are all one needs to know as far as where these guys
are coming from.
When all is said and done,
Dragony are doing nothing new and that's probably just fine by them.
Improvements can be made (for one, the production seems a bit thin),
but there's no reason this band can't enjoy a successful career.
