Enola Gay
Named for the WWII bomber that dropped the first atomic bomb,
this second-tier German power metal band released three albums in the
nineties, though they actually formed eight years prior in 1987.
This is classsic European traditional power metal, quite competantly played
though given the glut of bands playing similar material, they never really
established themselves as major players in the genre.
On a BNR trivia note, they are one of a number of bands on
these pages
(as of this writing, seven)
to cover
the Beatles' classic (and BNR favorite) "Eleanor Rigby".
