Ereb Altor

Initially formed as an offshoot of the Swedish doom band Isole by that band's core pair of Christer Olsson and Daniel Bryntse, Ereb Altor has carved out a solid career in its own right, recording steadily since debuting in 2008. Their style is primarily prototypical Viking metal in the finest tradition (read: later-period Bathory), mixed with a bit of classic doom. Classy and majestic, and arguably one of the leading Viking metal bands over the last decade.
