Gatlin
Gatlin is a Cleveland band whose
Forget Forever album
straddles the line between straightforward 80's metal and
accessible hard rock (both musically and vocally, early Dokken
comes to mind on occasion, though Gatlin is heavier), though
they aren't afraid to mix in other styles, such as a more 90's
semi-rap vocal style on "Never Mind", probably the heaviest song
on the album.
Though not groundbreaking originality-wise,
Forget Forever
has an appealing quality to it that makes for a satisfying listen.
